My name is Johna Lovely and I live in far Northern Maine. My life is shambles and I know that if you have been led to this place, maybe yours is too. If you are like me, drugs have taken over your state, your community and perhaps even your family and life. My son is currently in the Aroostook County jail and faces federal drug charges. Horrible, I know. I don’t know how we got here, and I don’t know how we will get out, but I love my son with all of my heart. His life has been very hard since high school and he has struggled with addiction most of his adult life. Of course, that means our family has struggled with addiction for some time as well. This is our story. I hope it helps someone in some small way to navigate their own story.
